Alhambra Gardens

First of all, welcome to the A-Z blog challenge!  Gone Gardening is part of the month-long challenge in which bloggers will come up with posts following each letter of the alphabet.  Obviously today's letter is "A."

The Alhambra Gardens are located in Granada, Spain.  They are part of a palace that was constructed in the mid 14th century by Moorish rulers who governed Granada.
The gardens are simply delightful.  You'll see roses, oranges, myrtles, English elms, and of course, fountains.  You'll even hear nightengales singing.  Talk about paradise!

The gardens are open daily from 9:30 AM to Dusk.
