Jensen Botanical Gardens

Jensen Botanical Gardens is located in Carmichael, California.  It covers 3 1/2 acres and was founded in 1958 by Charles C. Jensen. Visitors will enjoy the hydrangeas, roses, and rhododendrons growing under canopies of mature trees.  There's even a lovely brook that runs though the park.  It is especially stunning in the spring when the tulips are in bloom.

The garden is open daily from 8:00 AM to dusk.  Admission is free.

  1. Wow! I must tell the Husband about this garden. His mom's family was from Carmichael. Thanks. :-)

  5. Beautiful. I love the tulips! I would definitely be visiting that one, if I didn't live on the other side of the country. =)

  7. That's lovely!

I've stopped by as part of the A to Z challenge and I have to say, I think it's awesome that your theme is public gardens. What a great excuse to visit some, right? :)
