The Hershey Children's garden, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is a great place for kids. Hershey kiss misters greet you with a fine spray of water as you enter. The garden features a tree house, a butterfly house, a caterpillar tunnel, and a Native American garden.
The garden is open daily from April 15 to late October. It is also open on select dates in November and December. Tickets are between $7.00 and $10.00.
Does it smell of chocolate?
ReplyDeleteRight around the Hershey factory it does. Not so much by the garden.
Deletethe town smells like chocolate, indeed. Though the tour is a tad lame now. I remember walking through the plant as a kid - forget health, we could peer into vats. It is a very neat, tidy town
ReplyDeleteYes, as I said to Alex, the area around the factory does smell like chocolate, but I didn't think the garden smelled like chocolate.
DeleteHey Sherry,
ReplyDeleteWhat a combo! The scent of chocolate and the scent of flowers in the Hershey Children's garden.

It's a great place to take kids, especially when there are chocolate samples nearby.
DeleteWell I suppose with a name like that , it can't fail to attract children!
