The Hershey Children's garden, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is a great place for kids! As you enter, you are greeted by a fine spray of water delivered by Hershey Kiss misters - perfect for a hot summer day! The garden features a tree house, butterfly house, a caterpillar tunnel, and a Native American garden.
The garden is open daily from April 15 to late October. It is also open on select dates in November and December. Tickets are between $7.00 and $10.00.
If it was a fine mist of chocolate, kids would go nuts.
ReplyDeleteYes, and so would their parents!
DeleteDefinitely putting this place on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteYou'd probably enjoy it!
DeleteI've always wanted to go to Hershey. Didn't know they had gardens there, too. I've heard the whole town smells like chocolate :D
ReplyDeleteIt does.
DeleteAlex stole my comment. I was thinking a fine mist of chocolate. The whole town smells great. As a kid I toured Hershey back before OSHA ruined things - you walked by vats of chocolate and peered into them. The ladies on the Kisses line were fast at plucking out defectively wrapped candies. It was so magical (and unsanitary for us as tourists to be there on the line).
ReplyDeleteIt probably would have been fun to tour the place when you were a kid!
DeleteSounds like a nice garden to visit. I like Alex's comment about the misters. : )
ReplyDeleteCould you imagine the mess if they were chocolate misters?
DeleteNow that song from Willy Wonka is stuck in my head.... Pretty garden.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is pretty. Sorry about the earworm ;)
DeleteThat garden looks enchanting. A treat for the eyes and nose :)
