Columbus Park of Roses

I hope you have all enjoyed the A-Z blog challenge. Now it's back to regularly scheduled programming. Today's garden is one that is about two hours from where I live. Columbus Park of Roses is a thirteen acre park located in Columbus, Ohio, that features approximately 11,000 rose bushes of more than 400 varieties.
If you enjoy rose gardens, this is definitely a place to visit. It was the winner of the 2010 America's Best Rose Garden competition. There are actually three unique rose gardens there. The Main Garden is a formal Italian style rose garden with a large fountain in the center. The Heritage Garden showcases old roses. The Earth Kind Rose Garden is an informal rose garden.
In addition to the roses, visitors will also see an herb garden, perennial garden, and a beautiful daffodil garden that blooms in the spring. The gardens are open year-round from dawn to dusk. Admission is free.

    1. It's a nice one. Are you allergic to roses? If so, that stinks!
